Frequently asked questions
- What counts as a project?
- A project is a single property or site. It has one canvas and holds everything you draw, import, or look up for that site: the parcel geometry, your sketches, imported PDFs, scaled images.
- What is a parcel import?
- Type a Boston address and Stratum draws that property's real lot lines on the canvas — pulled from the city's parcel database — along with the zoning data and setbacks that apply to it. The Free tier lets you import one; Pro and above are unlimited.
- What happens when I hit the Free limit?
- If you try to import a second address, Stratum shows a dialog explaining the limit and keeps your first site untouched. Nothing is deleted. To add more properties, contact us to upgrade.
- Is there a checkout?
- Not yet. Paid plans activate manually after you email hello@stratum.boston. If you upgrade and later want to stop, email us and we return the account to Free. Your work on the canvas stays on the account either way.
